How to filter your transactions

Do you want to see only sales on one screen? Are you looking for a particular expense? Do you want to know which category of sales is moving the fastest? These are all questions you can answer using filters!  

How to filter my transactions

Follow the instructions below to filter your transactions:

  • In your OZÉ app, click on the Menu in the top left hand corner and then click Transactions. ( ☰ ➜ Transactions )

  • On the Transaction screen, click the filter icon in the top right corner.  

  • Set your filter criteria (more details below)

  • Click DONE to view the results.

  • To remove a filter click “Clear Filter”. (NOTE: you know your transactions are currently being filtered if you see the yellow dot on the filter icon.)

Different types of filter options

As a business owner, you need to understand your transaction data from many different angles. That’s why, we give you multiple filter options to choose from:

Filter by Category

Follow the instructions below to filter by category:

  • On the Transaction screen, click the filter icon in the top right corner.  

  • Click on the drop-down under “Categories” and select the appropriate category. (NOTE: by default all categories are included in filters.)

  • Click DONE to view the results.   

Filter by Sales or Expenses

Follow the instructions below to filter by sales or expenses:

  • On the Transaction screen, click the filter icon in the top right corner.  

  • Scroll down to “Transaction Type.” By default, both SALES and EXPENSES are selected. Unselect the type that you do not want to see. Click DONE to view the results.

How to sort my transactions

Follow the instructions below to sort your transactions:

  • On the Transaction screen, click the filter icon in the top right corner.

  • Then scroll down to “Sort By.” Here you can select Date, Type, or Amount to see your transaction in date order, grouped by type, or from the highest to lowest amount.

  • Click DONE to view the results.

Filter by Date

Follow the instructions below to filter by date:

  • On the Transaction screen, click the filter icon in the top right corner.  

  • Then scroll down to “Starting Date.” Here you can select a Starting Date and an Ending Date of the time period you want to see transactions.  

  • Click DONE to view the results.  

Filter by Amount

Follow the instructions below to filter by amount:

  • On the Transaction screen, click the filter icon in the top right corner.  

  • Then scroll down to “Amount Range.” Here you can select a MIN amount and a MAX amount by sliding the blue dots along the line.

  • Click DONE to view the results.

How to save a filter (coming soon)

Follow the instructions below to save a filter:

  • On the Transaction screen, click the filter icon in the top right corner.

  • Then create the filter you want to save.

  • Scroll down to “Name Filter.” Here you can give the filter a name.

  • Click DONE to the right of the name of the filter to save it to your list of filters.

  • Click DONE to view the results.
